Lizeth is a dedicated social worker with a passion for supporting youth, young adults, and families as they navigate life’s challenges, transitions, and healing journeys. With a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, Lizeth brings compassionate, collaborative support to individuals facing adversity, including experiences of abuse, violence, and emotional distress.
Her practice is rooted in the belief that healing begins with understanding—of ourselves, our relationships, and the patterns that shape our lives. She works closely with caregivers to foster deeper emotional connections, promote resilience, and build stronger family systems that support growth and healing.
Lizeth holds a Master of Social Work from King’s University College and a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Psychology. Her approach is grounded in attachment-focused and strength-based principles, integrating evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Attachment, Regulation and Competency (ARC), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Play Therapy, and Circle of Security.
Lizeth’s warm and non-judgmental style helps create a safe space for clients to explore emotions, develop coping strategies, and process difficult experiences. Whether she is helping youth manage big feelings, supporting families through complex dynamics, or empowering young adults to find clarity and connection, Lizeth is committed to walking alongside her clients at a pace that feels right for them.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Lizeth is honoured to support individuals and families on their journey toward a life that feels meaningful, grounded, and true to who they are.
