At Anchoridge Counselling our priority is ensuring every individual is paired with the clinician that best suits their counselling goals.
In order to do this we offer a free 15 minute intake with one of our intake coordinators; Dana or Sheila to talk about what's going on, your schedule, and benefits if you have them, and then they can recommend a counsellor accordingly!

Our careful, highly selective hiring process for social workers and psychotherapists means you can rest assured you are receiving the highest standard of quality care from the moment you arrive — and after you leave. What makes Anchoridge unique is that our work doesn’t end when the session does. We are committed to finding the resources you need to overcome the obstacles in your life.
Our goal is to connect you with the right mental health professional who will strive to empower you to reach a breakthrough within six to eight sessions. We know the value of giving compassionate, qualified counsellors the chance to work with the population they know best.
We are proud to say that new clients are able to meet with a therapist within the first two weeks of reaching out to Anchoridge. We work diligently to ensure that we do not have waitlists and that you get the care you need exactly when you need it.
Members of our team specialize in a variety of areas such as; anxiety, depression, addictions, body image & self-esteem, eating disorders, grief & loss, 2SLGBTQIA+, trauma, parenting and children, couples and family counselling.
You can find our office at 3075 Hospital Gate, Unit 406 in North Oakville across from Trafalgar Hospital. Paid Parking is available in front of the building and we are located on a bus route.
