She / Her
Tania earned her Bachelor of Science, with a focus on Psychology and Biology, at McMaster University. During her time there, she delved deep into human development and behaviour courses, which sparked an interest in mental health. After taking years to travel, work, and immerse herself in different cultures living in Asia and Europe, she moved to the United States and earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Tania takes a client-centred approach, which considers each person’s unique cultural background, family history, socio-emotional development, worldview, and more. Tania’s areas of speciality include couples counselling, pregnancy/prenatal/postpartum issues, infertility & loss, as well as multicultural issues.
She is committed to creating a safe, open, trusting, and non-judgmental environment for any client she sees. She recognizes the bravery and vulnerability it takes to seek psychotherapy/counselling services and feels privileged to be doing this important work.
