IN HOPE PROGRAM
We offer support in a wide variety of treatment areas in Kitchener-Waterloo, Milton, Oakville, London, and the surrounding areas, proudly customized to your individual needs.
No one is meant to be in therapy for years at a time. You have to take what you need from it, whether that is a coping mechanism, personal breakthrough, or resolutions you want to implement in the real world. After all, the time outside of therapy when you are actually utilizing the methods you have learned with your clinician is what makes therapy effective.
In the Kitchener Waterloo region we are fortunate to have a number of sliding scale and free community services. If you don't happen to qualify for our Anchored In Hope program, you may wish to look into these community services.
ANCHORED
IN HOPE PROGRAM
Here at Anchoridge Counselling, we never want finances to be a barrier to you accessing the care you need. Our clinicians take part in a program called Anchored In Hope, where they offered reduced rates to selected clients, based on need.

How it works:

Once you book your meet and greet with the clinician you have been matched with and you have completed the Anchored In Hope assessment form, you can discuss the Anchored In Hope program during your meet and greet with your clinician.

The rate is up to the discretion of the clinician, and is typically set for a maximum of 12 session (approximately 3 months), and at that time, your clinician will reassess your need for continuing on the Anchored in Hope program.

Anchored In Hope -
Community Program
​
For new clients of Anchoridge, your first step in your counselling journey is meeting with one of our intake coordinators.
​
They will ask you a few brief questions about your goals for counselling, your preferences and from there, match you with a clinician that is best suited for your needs.
​
If you want to be considered for the Anchored In Hope program, please let them know and they will assess your eligibility in order to determine a mutually agreeable price per session.

Anchored In Hope -
Internal Program
​
If you are currently working with a clinician at Anchoridge and your financial or insurance situation has recently changed, please let your clinician know - they will have admin sent you an Anchored In Hope application form and you can discuss payment options to come to a mutually agreeable fee for service.
If you don't qualify for the Anchored in Hope program, you may choose to work with one of our qualified students, which start at $80 +HST per hour.

We understand that not everyone has insurance benefits or can afford to pay for our services out of pocket. That is why we have student clinicians who are available to provide quality individual, couples and family counselling at a reduced rate.
Despite being students, our student practitioners are qualified to support you and your loved ones with the care and support that you deserve. They are committed to providing a safe and confidential environment to help clients reach their goals. Each of our students are supervised directly by our clinical director, Natasha Lavji, and are eager to work with you towards your counselling goals - either in person or virtually.
