PLAY / GRIEF / CHILD THERAPIST
At Anchoridge Counselling Services we are a multidisciplinary team always looking to increase our areas of care. We want to be able to serve our Kitchener-Waterloo community with a wide variety of mental health services. If you are a driven therapist looking to join a collaborative space we want to talk to YOU!
We are always looking for motivated therapists who are ready to take on private practice and deepen their knowledge of therapy.
We are looking for the following areas of specialty: Play Therapist (CAPT- Certification Preferred), Grief Therapist & Child Therapist.

Requirements

A Masters Degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work or equivalent in a clinically relevant field

Registration with the OCSWSSW or equivalent OR registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) is required.

Minimum 2 years in counselling experience

Excellent Oral/Written communication skills

Demonstrated clinical knowledge and experience working with the specialty area

Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Flexible on evenings & weekends- Must be able to work at least 15 hours

Ongoing professional development as needed to ensure clients needs are met

Clear vulnerable sector police check

Produce quality reports (progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, etc)
