Belinda Hannan works from a client-centred and trauma informed approach and fully believes you are the expert in your own life. She will walk alongside you to build on your strengths and create meaningful change. Belinda has experience in supporting individuals through addiction, anxiety, stress, grief and loss, ADHD and other mental health concerns. In this work she uses an eclectic approach, drawing from various therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Psychoeducation, according to your unique needs.
Belinda has experience supporting individuals in a variety of treatment settings, including long term care, inpatient substance use programming and various outpatient substance use and mental health programs. In session, Belinda strives to create a warm, supportive and non-judgemental environment, as she acknowledges the bravery it takes to be vulnerable and engage with self-exploration.
Belinda completed her Bachelor of Social Work Degree at Lakehead University, and her Master of Social Work Degree from Laurier University, She has also completed a certificate program through Mohawk College in Concurrent Disorders, a program specific to exploring the relationship and impacts of mental health and substance use. As a lifelong learner driven by curiosity, Belinda continuously explores relevant training in order to best support her clients.

I love taking care of my house plants and learning to play the bass guitar!
