Olivier is a Registered Social Worker with a Bachelor’s of Social Work from Laurentian University. He launched his social work career in 2022 with the Northeastern Ontario Structured Psychotherapy Program (NEOSP), a provincially funded program providing cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) treatment to adults experiencing a variety of anxiety and depressive concerns. In addition to contributing to various NEOSP development efforts, Olivier also completed the Advanced Certificate of Completion for Cognitive-Behavioural (CBT) Training, recognized by the Center for Addiction and Mental Health and the University of Toronto Temerty Faculty of Medicine. As such, he is skilled in providing evidence-based CBT treatment for a variety of concerns, including: depression, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, health anxiety, panic, specific fears, obsessive-compulsive concerns, and post-traumatic stress. Olivier is also trained in the following specialized CBT treatment modalities: Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Exposure and Response Prevention (EXRP), and Unified Protocol(UP).

As a CBT-trained clinician, Olivier works collaboratively with clients to explore the interconnected nature
between our thoughts/beliefs, emotions, physical reactions, and behaviours. In doing so, he aims to help
clients both identify and challenge negative thoughts and behaviour patterns, to help them overcome
avoidance and improve overall functioning based on their individual goals. Olivier’s practice is guided by client-centered, strength-based, and trauma-informed approaches, which seek to honour the uniqueness of each individual while promoting their personal values, sense of empowerment, and strengths.

Olivier strongly believes that each person is “the expert” on their situation and that working together to develop a common understanding of what meets their individual needs is the true catalyst for meaningful change. As a lover of stand-up comedy, he also incorporates humour into his practice in an effort to do serious work while having fun during the process.

As a Francophone, Olivier offers sessions in both English and French, and works with adults 18+. He is
currently accepting new clients. Olivier recognizes the amount of courage and resiliency required to seek
mental health support, and therefore aims to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to
explore their thoughts and emotions and begin the journey to taking their power back.
