If you've ever worried that therapy will feel awkward, overly clinical, or like talking to someone who simply nods and asks, "And how does that make you feel?", you're not alone.
Andi is a Registered Social Worker with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from King's University College and a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Windsor. Andi works with individuals and couples navigating relationship challenges, attachment wounds, self-esteem concerns, anxiety, and life transitions. She draws from approaches including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Strengths-Based Therapy. More importantly, she works to understand the person sitting in front of her before deciding what approach might be most helpful.
Andi believes that impactful therapy happens through genuine human connection. While she brings clinical knowledge and evidence-based approaches into the room, she also brings herself. Therapy with Andi is collaborative, conversational, and rooted in the belief that healing begins when we feel safe enough to be fully seen by another person. She believes that therapy doesn't have to be perfect to be meaningful; there is room for tears, uncertainty, laughter, frustration, and the occasional moment when you realize you've spent years being harder on yourself than you would ever be on someone you love.
As a therapist, Andi doesn't see herself as the expert on your life. You are. Her role is to walk alongside you as a teammate, ask questions, offer new perspectives, and help you uncover the strengths, insights, and resilience that may have been there all along. Andi considers it a privilege to witness people's stories. Whether you're arriving in therapy with a clear goal or simply a sense that something needs to change, you don't have to figure it all out before reaching out. You can come exactly as you are.
FUN FACT
Andi's curiosity has taken her to 14 countries, where she's developed a deep appreciation for the many ways people find connection, purpose, and belonging.
