As a counsellor, Maggie believes that the personal is political - and it is important to meet you where you are at within the environment you live. With over a decade of experience in housing and harm reduction prior to moving into private practice, Maggie brings a strong social justice lens to her work and values the relationship between individual wellbeing and community.

Maggie draws from Cognitive Behavioural and Narrative Therapies, integrating mind-body, response-based, and trauma-informed approaches to support clients in building insight, skills, and meaningful change. Her goal is to help clients better understand their mental health, strengthen coping strategies, and create connections between their personal life experiences and broader life contexts.

Maggie provides a compassionate space to meet you where you are at with non-judgement, curiosity, and a focus on creating meaningful change.
She is called to support people navigating life transitions, anxiety, grief and loss, and those who wish to develop self-love and self-confidence. Working with Maggie, you will learn personal insight, self-compassion, and strategies for change.

Maggie holds a Master of Social Work from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Victoria. She is a Registered Social Worker licensed to practice in BC, Nova Scotia, and Ontario.
