Meray is an author and psychotherapist (qualifying) with a master’s in counselling psychology.
Her background in expressive writing and the sociology of human interaction drew her interest in
supporting clients navigating complex communication and interpersonal dynamics.
Meray supports individuals and couples navigating relational and intrapersonal stress, often
stemming from life transitions, communication breakdowns, and ongoing personal challenges.
She supports individuals in addressing self-critical and negative thinking patterns, while helping
them navigate both internal stress and stress that arises within their relationships. Meray supports
couples guiding them to understand the deeper layers of messages and how they interpreted,
while addressing cyclical responses that have built up over time.
Meray works with clients to explore conflict patterns, what leads up to them, how they’re
experienced, and how cycles repeat and supports individuals to integrate adaptive responses. She
guides clients to adapt language responsibility skills and advocates for emotional expression by
setting adaptable and culturally informed boundaries across family, professional, and relational
contexts.
Meray works with individuals experiencing disconnection, dissociation, and intense emotions.
She guides clients to reimagine and redefine self-talk and communication with others with an
emphasis on empowered self-understanding and emotional regulation tools. She is honoured to
witness the evolution of each client’s life story, including their insights, growth, and the ways
they shape personal meaning in their lives. Her approach is culturally inclusive collaborating
with individuals from diverse backgrounds, incorporating their unique lived experience into the
therapeutic space. She is committed to fostering a space grounded in connection, empathy,
authentic expression, and unconditional positive regard, where clients can feel supported and at
ease.
