In order to do this we offer a free 15 minute intake with one of our intake coordinators; Dana or Sheila, to talk about what's going on, your schedule, and benefits if you have them, and then she can recommend a counsellor accordingly! Our careful, highly selective hiring process for social workers and psychotherapists means you can rest assured that you are receiving the highest standard of quality care from the moment you arrive — and even after you leave. What makes Anchoridge unique is that our work doesn’t end when the session does. We are committed to finding all the resources you need to overcome the obstacles in your life.
Our goal is to connect you with the right mental health professional who will strive to empower you to reach a breakthrough within six to eight sessions. Here, we know the value of giving compassionate and qualified counsellors the chance to work with the population they know best.
We are proud to say new clients are able to meet with a therapist within the first couple weeks of reaching out to Anchoridge. We work diligently to ensure that we do not have waitlists and that you get the care and support you need when you need it.
Members of our team specialize in a variety of areas such as; anxiety, depression, ADHD, sex & intimacy, addictions, body image & self-esteem, trauma, grief & loss, 2SLGBTQIA+, parenting and children, couples and family counselling.
2 hour free parking is available on Hyman St, and metered parking is available on Pall Mall St. and Central Ave.
